Will I lose my client history if I leave GrooMore?

No. Send us your GrooMore file and we move your clients, pets, and appointment history over for free. GrooMore also lists free data import on their homepage — either way, you should not have to retype the book.

Is it hard to learn?

Most groomers are comfortable in an afternoon. You can tap through screens, or just tell Ask Teddy what you need in plain words. GrooMore is a capable, simpler-priced tool — Teddy is for people who want to talk to the software instead of hunting menus.

What does it cost compared to GrooMore?

Both start at $49. We are not cheaper on the sticker. GrooMore lists $49 / $79 / custom, with 400 texts on Standard and 800 on Premium, and Standard/Premium cover 1 van or 1 location. Teddy is $49, $99, or $199 with unlimited texts and Ask Teddy on every plan. Happy to look at your setup on a call.

Do I have to sign a contract?

Teddy is month to month, no setup fee, cancel anytime. 14-day trial, no card. GrooMore’s homepage says no setup fees and no contracts. We do not know if they ask for a card on trial — check their site.

What if I need help?

Does it work for mobile grooming?

Yes. GrooMore lists route optimization on Standard mobile, so we do not claim Teddy wins van routing. On Teddy, route sorting is Core and Plus only. Budget is $49 with unlimited texts and Ask Teddy, but no route sorting. You can book or move appointments by voice from the van on plans that include it.
